This island resort is about 3-hours boat ride form Kota Kinabalu city.
The fact that it is away from any large land mass has Pulau Tiga been selected
as the location for the real life theme series "The Survivor". The participants
spent 6 weeks on this island and competed for the prize of USD 1 million. And
that makes Pulau Tiga known to the world! This place is the favourite spot for
local angliers because it is free from local fishermen activities and tourists
diving around the coral reef. Visitors can snorkel near the beach in the shallow
clear waters,sunbathe on the white sandy beach or jungle trekking in rainforest
on the island. At night you can sing along in the karaoke,have a few beers in
the resort, or just sit on the beach listening to the sound of the waves beating
the shore.
