Each plant is provided with a signboard complete with its common name and scientific name and a brief but clear description. Local flowers of various species line the pathway, visitos can stroll along and enjoy the scenery or study the plants. The zoo keeps many rare local wild animals, some of which can only be found in Borneo, like the Borneoan pigmy(stunned-growth) elephants, the Proboscis (long-nosed) Monkey, the Orang Utan(Borneoan Ape), the Borneoan Rhino. Many animals are in the process of being imported too, so that our children will also have the opportunity to see animals from other countries. There is also a 2-acre bird park netted with wire mesh. Inside are many different species of birds like eagle, egerate, oreintal dates, hornbill, kingfisher and the rare bird of Borneo - Lesser Adjuntant.
